A year of varied and exciting projects and partnerships. Here are just a few examples of what we achieved.
Launch of Face On anthology and Hidden Dragons CDRom
We collaborated with Arts and Disability Ireland to launch Face On, an anthology on Disability Arts in the Republic of Ireland edited by Kaite O’Reilly. The event also launched DAC’s Hidden Dragons on CD ROM, and included readings by some of the writers and a writing workshop.
Writing workshop
Kaite O’Reilly ran a half-day workshop for disabled writers at Sbectrwm, Cardiff, writing from the perspective of disability. A very popular session which left everyone wanting more!
Unusual Stage School company development weekend
A weekend to give eleven disabled actors the time to focus on skills development.
